Christmas 2009

So of course this was Lilly's first Christmas and even though she had no clue what was going on, it was still great fun! The day started with John bringing me a present in bed to open... it was a CAMERA! Perfect! So we got up and got Lilly out of bed, yes she was still asleep, but we were on a time crunch since we were supposed to be at John's parents at 9 and it was 7:30. We feed her and then started in on stockings and gifts. Some of the gift highlights for Lilly were... the start of a college fund from Papa and Grammy (my parents), a twilight turtle that makes stars all over the room, some learning toys (a puppy and a snail), her first baby doll, a handmade angel from Mammaw, clothes, rattle booties, and chucks! John got some new shoes, a concept cars book, the first two seasons of Entourage, clothes, and a new pillow. I got some diamond earrings, a charm from James Avery, Wii Fit, a swiss army knife, Up, Harry Potter, and an Instyler! We oooed and awwed over the gifts and then packed up to head to Nana and Grandad's. There we ate some breakfast and hung out for a while before we opened gifts. John got a Havoc Heli (every time the commercial came on tv he said he wanted one, so I told Caleb to get it for him) and a Newk's gift card. I got 2 sweaters, a scarf, 4 pairs of earrings, and some black leggings. Everyone racked up! Then we took lots of pictures with Audrey and Lilly in their matching pj's, and in the matching Santa dresses that John's mom got them. They were too adorable! Nana took one of the pictures of Lilly in the dress and added a caption to send out as an after Christmas greeting. In the end Christmas was a huge success and we all had a great time. The one on top is of us girls in our Christmas pj's (John and Thomas were both taking pics at the same time and never told us where to look so we didn't get any really good pics.) The next ones are of us getting Lilly up, she was real sleepy faced! Then her by the tree and us all opening presents. Then her and John flying the helicopter, I managed to get a shot of it in the air. Then of course the girls.....
